REQUIREd skills:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer focusing on Azure services and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Proficiency in MS Fabric and Azure Data Factory, including Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Pipelines, Real-Time Analytics, Data Warehouse, Power BI Integration, Spark Jobs, Notebooks, and Dataflow Gen 2.
  • Programming skills in Azure Databricks or Python, PySpark or Scala, and Spark SQL/TSQL for data transformations.
  • Knowledge of Delta Lake, Parquet, and distributed data systems.
  • Experience implementing and managing Lakehouse solutions using Databricks and the Azure tech stack.
  • Proficiency in working with both relational and non-relational databases: MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and CosmosDB.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to streamline data engineering workflows.
  • English B2+.

Nice-to-have skills:

  • Experience with the Snowflake data platform.
  • Certifications as a Fabric Data Engineer Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate.
  • Experience with data governance tools and security frameworks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement data processing systems using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Analytics Services: Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory.
  • Develop robust data models that enable efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis.
  • Write efficient, scalable code to process, transform, and clean large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest data from various sources (databases, APIs, streaming platforms).
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to analyze data requirements and provide optimized solutions.
