required skills:

- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Strategy in large enterprise environments or consulting.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, or COBIT.
- Experience designing or implementing data governance operating models, including data ownership, stewardship, and RACI structures.
- Experience developing governance documentation such as policies, standards, and control descriptions.
- Understanding of governance topics such as data quality, metadata management, lineage, classification, and lifecycle management.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms (data warehouse, lakehouse, or cloud data platforms).
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to work with business, technical, and compliance teams.
- English B2+.
nice-to-have skills:

Experience with governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, Atlan, or Microsoft Purview.

Experience working with Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP data platforms.

Experience in regulated industries (Finance, Insurance, or similar).

Certifications such as CDMP, CIPP/E, CISA, or PMP.
responsibilities:
- Assess existing data governance frameworks, documentation, and control environments and identify gaps against regulatory and enterprise governance expectations.
- Design Data Governance Target Operating Models, including governance structures, roles, and decision processes.
- Develop and structure governance artefacts, such as policies, standards, governance registers, and control documentation.
- Define practical governance processes for data quality, metadata management, access control, and lifecycle management.
- Work with data architects and engineering teams to align governance practices with enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with compliance, risk, and data protection teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical governance controls.
- Support the rollout and operational adoption of governance frameworks across business domains.
