LeverX is looking for an experienced SAP MDG & Data Migration Senior Consultant to join our team and work on projects related to master data management and migration in SAP environments.
This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support SAP MDG solutions and the migration of master data across various systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG, SAP Data Migration, or related SAP functionalities.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MDG processes (e.g., data governance, workflow management, and data modeling).
- Experience with data migration tools such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, or other ETL tools.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and integration with SAP MDG.
- Strong expertise in data quality management and ensuring data integrity during migration and governance processes.
- Experience in SAP Master Data Governance implementation and configuration, including the setup of key master data objects (e.g., material, customer, vendor, etc.).
- Solid understanding of business processes in areas such as finance, procurement, and logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- SAP MDG Implementation & Configuration: Lead and contribute to SAP MDG implementations, ensuring that master data governance processes are efficiently set up, including data modeling, workflow management, and data validation.
- Data Migration Strategy: Develop data migration strategies and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for the migration of master data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
- Master Data Quality & Governance: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data within the SAP MDG system, and implement data governance best practices.
- Integration with Other SAP Modules: Coordinate and support the integration of SAP MDG with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, MM, FICO, etc.), ensuring seamless data flow across the enterprise.
- Data Mapping & Transformation: Work on data mapping and transformation activities, ensuring smooth migration and harmonization of data between different SAP systems and external applications.
