As a technical writer in our company, you will work with development teams across a variety of projects. You will document technical topics for the developer audience as well as user assistance documents for end users. You will play an important role in ensuring that our customers not only have all the information and tools they need to be successful but also improving the user experience through user assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying areas of improvement of user guidance & usability in close collaboration with the development team;
- Driving new user assistance approaches that effectively serve customers like (interactive) graphics, animated gifs, how-to videos & social media content;
- Creating user assistance deliverables in a development team that enable users to implement, configure, and use software applications;
- Participating in software & documentation testing;
- Defining simple, consistent terminology that conforms to industry standards;
- Acting as an advocate for an excellent user experience.
Requirements:
- An excellent oral and written knowledge of English;
- Very good ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner;
- Willingness to acquire product knowledge and learn new skills at short notice.
‘Nice to have’ skills:
- Experience in CMS tools;
- German or/and Polish language
